The ANĀD Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of culture, with particular focus on the preservation and perpetuation of the endangered intangible cultural heritage and traditions of South Asia.

The ANĀD Foundation's previous successful presentations include Laya Darshan - Revealing the Riches of Indian Rhythm in June 2005, Jashan in July 2006, Anād Lecture Series in April 2007 and Anād Kav Tarang in April 2008. The ANĀD Foundation is now proud to present, Expressions on Nature, which will bring together artists of different media symbolizing the composite and transforming nature of reality while underlining the unity, symbiosis and interdependency of the multiplicity of forms and expressions.

In Expressions on Nature poetry, music, visual arts and painting will be symbiotically intertwined with one another and the audience, constantly aspiring to ever increasing heights of openness and space, of artistic creation and fruition, touching the undefined and indefinable line between being and witnessing.

Against the background of today's critical concern for the preservation of our fragile environment, the programme will feature evocative poetry by Gagan Gill and Pria Devi, contemporary music by Rabbi Shergill and traditional mystic poetry sung by Bhai Baldeep Singh. The chromatic backdrop will be provided by evocative paintings by Sidharth, who will also present, on this occasion, his composition “Barah Maha.”
